Rosie O’Donnell is bringing her acclaimed one-woman show home to New York.

Following sold-out performances at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the multiple Emmy Award winner will bring “Rosie O’Donnell: Common Knowledge” to The Daryl Roth Theatre Off Broadway for a limited 12-show run this summer.

The limited engagement begins Wednesday, July 22, 2026, and runs through Saturday, August 8, 2026, with performances scheduled for July 22–25, July 29–August 1, and August 5–8. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.

The show marks O’Donnell’s first new stage production in nearly a decade. Billed as a richly told hour of comedy and reflection, “Common Knowledge” blends big laughs with deeply personal storytelling, drawing from O’Donnell’s childhood, the death of her mother, mothering while motherless, her move to Dublin, life in a new but familiar culture, and raising her youngest child, Clay.

“I’m thrilled to be performing in my hometown,” O’Donnell said. “There’s no place like New York.”

O’Donnell’s career has spanned film, television, theatre and advocacy. She broke through in beloved films including “A League of Their Own” and “Sleepless in Seattle,” became a daytime staple with her long-running talk show, and has more recently appeared in projects including “SMILF,” “I Know This Much Is True,” and “American Gigolo.”
